"2008 Theme:'Take a Look at me Now!"

Wow! Camp 2007 was one of the best I beleive we have ever had. I want to thank all my staff for what they have done in making this summer's camp so wonderful. I was told by many of our campers that our teachers, classes, counselors, and kitchen staff were great.

I am getting excited about our camp next year with the theme "Take a Look at me Now!" Our staff meeting has been set to be October 27th at 10:00 a.m. for the Board, and our staff meeting will be at 11:00 a.m. We will share a noon meal together and dismiss hopefully by 1:30 p.m. so everyone can return home at a decent time.

The Camp Board made the decision to send a check to help pay for the rebuilding the swimming area docks and swings. They were destroyed the Sunday after we left when a 18" rain fell in less than 24 hours. Keep the camp in your prayers.

ATTENTION Staff and campers:

New for next year:

Registration will be easier in 2008 at camp with a different look as we will strive to quicken the way we check in. As of now we will have three lines to check in. If your name ends in A-M then N-Z or you have already sent in your completed application and full payment has been made, then the fourth line will be for churches paying for more than three campers.

ALSO ANNOUNCING: LEGACY from Lubbock, Texas will be at camp to lead us in Song Fest on Monday night. This is a premiere singing group who have been together for about six years including college time singing together in the group Best Friends. This will be a great time to hear Legacy praise and edify us all together that night.
